Day 1B Officially Over

Day 1B is now officially finished as the 60 or so remaining players are all bagging their chips.

The current chip leader is Burenjargal Badamsuren, who is around 175,000, while Andrew Gaw has almost 127,000.

Richie Chua Busts Out Sam Peralta
After a series of raises led to both players going all-in pre-flop, Richie Chua flipped over K-8 while Sam showed A-9.

The flop of  3-8-A hit both players but put his opponent ahead.

The turn of 7 brought nothing; however, the 8 that came on the river gave him trips and knocked Sam out of the tournament.

Would help to say that I had 90K and had raised his blinds for 4K. He pushed All-In for 10K which is an instacall with the odds.  

I knew I was live and I was getting the great odds to call which I did. I just didn't want to seem like a donk making a play with K-8. OK I WAS making a play but it was well planned.
